I would like to bring awareness to a government group called the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), As the name suggests, this group is dedicated to helping individuals who have fallen victim to scams, fake profiles, cloning, and identity theft, Unfortunately, our government is limited in their ability to catch these criminals due to the fact they require people’s IP addresses, which can only be obtained if one owns their own website. This highlights the importance of being cautious and vigilant while using the Internet, as our government may not always be able to protect us from these online threats. Therefore, it is crucial for individuals to educate themselves on others from falling victim to these crimes. By spreading awareness about this government group, we can all work together to combat cybercrime and make the Internet a safer place for everyone.
